The rankings are not based on simple voting. We have ranked the best florists in Chicago by a sophisticated algorithm using Alexa rankings, Quantcast rankings, and public reviews. More weight is given to reviews made on review sites like Yelp and Google, while also giving consideration to when those reviews were written. A flower shop with many older reviews may not rank as highly as a shop with fewer newer reviews. There is much employee turnover in the floral industry and relying on reviews over a year or two may not indicate current quality reliability.
